Who processes your data

PoseBox (contact: poseboxapp@gmail.com) is responsible for processing the data you provide us when using the app.

What data we collect

• Email and password (encrypted; we never see or store it in plain text).
• Display name and gender, for your profile and rating statistics.
• Ratings, comments, favorites, lists and diary entries you create.
• IP address, temporarily, solely to prevent abuse (login and sign-up attempt limits).

What we use it for

• Providing the service: accounts, ratings, comments, lists and diary.
• Sending you the password reset email when you request it.
• Preventing abuse, such as mass fake accounts or password brute-forcing.

Who we share data with

We don't sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. We use Resend, solely to send the password reset email.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete it by writing to poseboxapp@gmail.com, we delete your personal data within a reasonable time.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data by writing to poseboxapp@gmail.com.

Cookies

We use two technical cookies: pb_session (keeps you logged in) and pb_locale (remembers your language). We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Since they're strictly necessary for the service to work, they don't require your prior consent.

Minors

PoseBox is not directed at people under 18 and we don't knowingly collect data from minors.
